Sprouted from the success of earlier manufacturing breakfasts and industry groups throughout the United States, McHenry County’s manufacturing plant leadership peer group began hosting a breakfast series this year called M1 Connect.

The McHenry County Economic Development Corporation has partnered with Express Employment Professionals to host the M1 Connect Breakfast Series. The breakfast series is designed to empower manufacturing plant leaders from all sizes of operations in McHenry County, M1 Connect is a 6-part breakfast series that is peer driven and has produced relevant takeaways for its participants.

The series is being facilitated by Scott Bucklin of Manufacturing Risk Management Partners LLC. Bucklin has over 30 years of manufacturing plant leadership experience and specializes in eliminating the risks and liabilities associated with errors and mistakes made on the manufacturing floor.

At our most recent meeting, we welcomed talent assessment expert, Sean Casavechia, the Midwest Regional Vice President at CALIPER as a guest-speaker, who provided expertise in delivering assessment consultations for employee selection and development purposes.

6 times a year, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
September 25th and October 16th, 2019 are the final two meetings this year.
